I went to a thrift store today and I bought 3 VHS tapes that had promos, IDs, etc from WCPX, WFTV, WTSP (ABC era), WFTS (FOX era), and WWWB. Among the tapes was most of the 11PM news from June 17, 1990 on WFTV. I will upload that on YouTube tomorrow.

fans of WABC, heads up. I found videos showcasing the talents of legendary voiceover Scott Vincent including EWN opens in the 60s and 70s (and opens before known as EWN) as well as ABC Network promos (and wabc's as well) and good nuggets included opens and promos of the famous "4:30 movie". Browse the library below. BTW, can anyone tell me when did they stop the "4:30 movie"? was it when Oprah moved to 4pm or before?

Have another WKY News Can from 1958:

Included items are footage of police and fire inspecting a grocery store which had received a bomb threat; dedication of a new Civil Aeronautics Administration center in Oklahoma City; and flooding of a neighborhood.

They were still using those graphics in 1989? Good heavens. They probably only dumped them when they wore out the masters!
