The station only began producing news in 1978, when the former independent became an NBC affiliate. KAPP/KVEW Weekend Report, 9/21/1991, with Kerry Tomlinson (taped from KVEW) KIMA NewsBeat at Noon at the end of this commercial compilation from 10/12/1994...KIMA aired a 5-min. local newsbrief before joining CNN Headline News.
