Samantha 2876
And before that, the KAKE stations tried a KSN/KBS style name, KTN, or the Kansas TV Network. I'd heard of the Kansas Television Network, but I had never heard "ABC Kansas" before.
10Viewer 319
A KMTV bumper for Divorce Court at the end — who is the VO??? He’s done other stations out in the Midwest, mainly WCMH, WTHR, and even rival KETV. Been trying to find out who he is for years. He did commercials for Runza in the '80s. Answer: Jim Morgan (according to a YouTube post of Omaha commercials)

KnoxvilleTVFan 285
Here's KAMR in 1995 in the form of news teases. But that's not all...here's WLFI in the 1980s. The theme they used: VTS' NewsScore. This was before they used Gari's Turn To News.

I'm surprised he wasn't more widely used....while his voice may not have been "Voice of God" like Charlie Van Dyke, this guy's voice is buttery smooth

Info Junkie 1285
Back on an Albany tangent, here’s a look at CBS 6 News from the mid 2000s. Don’t know when this was but it had to be early 2006 as Greg Floyd is now at the anchor desk. He replaced Joe Pags around December 2005. Also when did CBS 6 drop Charlie Van Dyke?
scrabbleship 427
Back on an Albany tangent, here’s a look at CBS 6 News from the mid 2000s. Don’t know when this was but it had to be early 2006 as Greg Floyd is now at the anchor desk. He replaced Joe Pags around December 2005. Also when did CBS 6 drop Charlie Van Dyke? Charlie Van Dyke was phased out in mid-2007. The exact date for this would be September 6, 2006 judging by the top story being the "first day of school" (two days after Labor Day in New York). This would be the day after they expanded the 6:00 back to an hour in fact. Image wise, the rough period of 1998-2008 were a great time for WRGB with four good theme/graphic combos going from InSink to the first version of Impact. That package getting destroyed by going HD hurt it a ton and the package that replaced it was so bad the Sinclair package was an improvement.

Samantha 2876
"A Big Name, A Big Commitment": it's what you'll get from WAGA's TV-5 Eyewitness News Update in 1981! And it was "Something Special" on WLEX 18 News in 1991: Didn't know WHBF used the "flying TV screens" package: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=imja5XfHalc;t=401 It had to have been adopted late in 1995 or early 1996, because WHBF used The Hour and those pink and blue slab graphics (which admittedly were dated for 1995) a year before:
