Some stuff from other channels that I found interesting (if you're in the DC area and/or a Washington Redskins fan, you should love these)

1988 WRC "Bronco Busters" Promo (leadup for Super Bowl XXII; from "ghostofscruff")

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRrJdXpoGDQ

Also, in recent weeks, WAVY has aired old stories from what they call the "Sportswrap Vault" on Wednesday nights. Here's a sample of some of those (again with plenty of Redskins footage from the WAVY YouTube channel):

1980 WAVY Redskins Training Camp Report

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5gkDxNi7Ik

1982 WAVY Clip (Bruce Rader, former anchor Bob Grip and Don Slater go fishing)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlvC4RQzO5s

1983 WAVY Redskins Training Camp Report

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XOCCraAyrg

1995 WAVY Clip (Chris Reckling vs. Sweetpea Whitaker)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvPIJpPcuqA

Probably will have more stuff on my channel next week.

Channel 4 News, the tabloid years? This open, to me, seems similar to the KCBS "Action News" open from the same era.

That music in the Channel 4 News tabloid era (if I'm not mistaken) was used from summer of 1992 (around the time Paul Moyer returned to KNBC) till summer of 1994 when they begin using Michael Boyd's KNBC News music.
