WSMV Scene News clip from the summer of 1990 on TV DXing, with WSMV engineer Tom Bryant (who was/is a long-time WTFDA member).

Carole Simpson anchors the first 7 minutes of ABC World News Sunday on 4/14/1996, taped from KMGH Denver. No audio on one side, this was in that brief period in between audio splitters on my Betamax VCR.

Found this August 1984 newscast from WBNS in Columbus

Also found it interesting that the newscast included a story on the Columbus-based Cranston Csuri effects firm handling the CGI intro at the start of the film for the Republican National Convention prior to President Reagan's acceptance speech at that convention in Dallas (and the anchor struggling to mask disappointment that CBS didn't show the film or at least the beginning)

This January 1995 KCOP newscast must be from the tail end of the Real News format -- many of the CityTV-inspired elements were gone by this time:

For comparison, here's KCOP at the height of its "CityTV phase":

Man, those late 90s Ackerley Group graphics were so good! Here’s some from WIXT (now WSYR) in 2001.

And here’s the music that went with this package! It’s a Frank Gari production, I think.

As a bonus, here’s the station in 2006:

Lots to upload...

KNDO NewsCenter clip from 6/6/88 (RFK assassination 20 years prior)

My oldest clip of CNN Headline News, taped off Superstation WTBS on 2/26/1985

KIMA News at 5 clip, August 1997, Craig Galbreith and April Minister

CBS Sunday Night News open 12/17/95 (plus commercials aired prior to it). KIMA did not air news on weekends until 2000.

CNN Headline News (partial), 10/26/97 with Holly Firfer (also taped from KIMA...after CBS discontinued their Sunday Night News, they took CNN Headline News for a year or so, then went to NYPD Blue reruns at 11pm.)

Speaking of Headline News, the audio portion of the channel (not to be confused with short, custom-produced "CNN Radio" newscasts) was simulcast by a number of radio stations. Here's a commercial for one of them, KNNS ("K-News") in Phoenix:
