The car commercial in the second one before the news is voiced by Ernie Anderson!

KXTV in April 1992, this look probably just had been rolled out:

I can possibly assume this was the same company that did KRON’s and WOWT’s 2D graphics due to the former being in nearby San Francisco.

WDTN had an interesting open back in 75. Looks like they went the Action News route without the theme

Sheryl Previll later went by the name Sheryl Browne in Cleveland and Tampa. No idea what happened to her after her departure from WTSP in 1992.

Here are some newly uploaded short promos from WBBM's legendary "Nobody Does It Better" campaign:

By the way, we know that WCBS had its own, vastly inferior version of this promo campaign..

...but were there other versions elsewhere?

--Is that the only non-ABC/Cap Cities station to use those graphics? I can't remember the look being on anything beyond them.

Hmm, don’t remember WYFF broadcasting in 16x9 back then! Still nice to see though.

No station in the US would be broadcasting in 16:9 in the analog era.  This must be something the uploader or YouTube did.  It would be technically impossible unless they were broadcasting a letter boxed feed. However many cameras and technology were only 4:3.

That is what the YouTuber did. Used the ol Turner-style stretch-o-vision and upscaled the feed to 720p...

This has the longest recording of the KARE/KUSA 9 Country / 11 Country closing theme I've come across so far

Actually I beg to differ at the 28:02 mark
https://tcmedianow.com/wusa-kare-july-16-1985-6pm-star-game-coverage/

Although I remember this theme very well. It was first used on channel 9 in Denver (KBTV/KUSA) during its ABC affiliate days. Mike Landess and Ed Sardella delivered the news, Stormy Rottman and Bill Kuster did weather, and Mike Nolan did sports. I especially love the KUSA 9 Country News Opens, which featured the golden pipes of Mr. ABC himself Ernie Anderson.
