Some commercials from ABC's airings of the Amerika mini-series, taped off WOLO in Columbia. There are news updates with Centerpiece by Soundtrack Music as the theme, back then they had just a 6pm newscast, the 11pm slot was filled by Threes Company reruns with a weather update.

The last 3 minutes of GMA's Kape at Balita (Coffee and News) from March 1992, in the run-up to the Philippine presidential elections.

That’s because NO ONE could compete with WIS at the time. And they still can’t, even though WLTX has been getting up there....

Florida man and Florida woman (WSVN’s Jim Berry and WESH’s Robin Chapman) have the weekend news for the nation’s capital on this November day in 1985.

On the Discord chat, we’ve been having a theory  that WJLA debuted the supposed 1984 theme and ugly red set around Spring 1986 sweeps.

Me and my crappy musical memory...

The Crossfire theme from this 1991 CNN compilation sounds so familiar, but I can't quite place it:

It's "The Leading Edge" by Soundtrack; the production music has been used as a news theme during the 1980s and '90s by, among other stations, KCST (now KNSD), KTHV, WAAY, WCFT (now WSES), WDIO/WIRT, WEAR and WROC.

WTEN, 6:00 PM, 2/8/1997. Still using the 1994 theme and opens but different L3's. IIRC, Primetime News came later that year.

A demo reel of WNYT's 1997 graphics package.

A clip of WRGB's "DiNicola's World" from 4/28/1997 involving a then-unknown Rachael Ray

That demo came from a NewsActive3 compilation, along with KOIN, KNBC, WFXT, and WCSH from the same period. What company was it?

That last clip... that must have started Rachael Ray's career, right then and there without even knowing it.

A full WYOU 11pm newscast from May 29th, 1998. This was the last newscast from Scranton before they moved to WBRE's studios in Wilkes-Barre.

Before Nexstar was a media hog going after companies, they were infamous for bringing down a once respected station in Northeastern PA.

Misc KCTV promos
