hmaxhanson 650
A Florida News Network special from May 1997 on preparing for hurricanes. This was produced at and recorded off WFTV, an early example of their Counterpoint/EQ Vance era. Due to bad weather and power failures, WDEF is forced to do their 11pm news for March 20, 1995 from their newsroom: Edited February 20, 2019 by hmaxhanson
Info Junkie 1285
More from this channel - WHOA! ‘DEF picked up Counterpoint in early ‘96?! Then that means they used PYCCO afterward, and THEN reverted to Counterpoint AGAIN in ‘98? Shes also got some WYFF work as well (their very first “News 4” era!) hmaxhanson 650
Now here's a real rarity. Channel 10 in Helena, back when it was Helena's first Fox affiliate (which after a series of affiliation switches and a hostile buyout of the IP by Gray is now KUHM, the Helena outlet of Montana PBS) had Montana's very first 9pm newscast, which was produced by KTVH under a time brokerage agreement. https://youtu.be/-x9gSICsm44?t=581 Edited February 21, 2019 by hmaxhanson

Info Junkie 1285
A KMTV clip from 1980 featuring Dick Fletcher very shortly before his Tampa run, along with John McDonald and Chuck Roberts of CNN. They used “TuesdayA”.
Ntropolis 593
A portion of a KING weekend newscast from 1999. Lots of other material on this channel. I don’t remember seeing this set of KING graphics before... these must have been used for about a year, right before the former Providence Journal stations package. I actually have a really low-rez RealPlayer file with one of the extended opens somewhere.

I don't know much about John McDonald-wonder where he went after KMTV? Edited February 23, 2019 by 8Viewer
Samantha 2876
I recognize that bump cut...from a KRGV promo (!). Had no idea it was TuesdayA.

Samantha 2876
That's actually not that bad of an open... The PYCCO slogan seems to have outlived the image package, too.
