A fantastic KENS close from 1985:

WJZ's Eyewitness News from 1992 — the 11pm open with the candelabra tower top animation:

That close from KENS5. Seriously their VTS pack they had is nothing short of remarkable. I wish someone out there had the full thing and could publish it.

Here is another rare find that was uploaded...in 2010. I am sharing with you a video about Kris Ketz who was inspired by his father Jim King, a longtime news anchor at WQAD.

So, I came across this video and found a rare WQAD news open from 1982 which can be seen at :25. And, it was seen on the night that Kris teamed up with his dad for the 6pm "Active 8 News".

KWEX-TV news clip I think around 2001. This is likely around the time when Univision just rolled out their "RudeHoney" news graphics package. Why? Keep an eye out for a graphical error in the lower thirds.

...That's how you can tell it was around that time because KWEX was trying to get used to the then new graphics package.

Just found this earlier tonight. Here's a 7 hour upload of C-SPAN coverage of the 1994 midterm elections (hope you've got plenty of free time if you were to watch uninterrupted)

Also worth noting are several cut-ins to local stations (for example, WUSA, WFAA, KGO and New York 1 News) for victory and concession speeches.

It's 48 minutes of WTVX commercials from 1989...including several news breaks presented by Curt Fonger and Evelyn Cole. By this time, the station was already an independent. Interestingly, the first one uses newer and more elaborate L3s than most of the others.

C-SPAN also has some newscasts in its online video archives, such as this KTVK newscast from 1993, a year before the station lost its ABC affiliation:

From 1998, KTVK's special coverage ahead of Sen. Goldwater's funeral:

Phoenix-area coverage of Decision '96: Election Night. It starts with KPNX/NBC, but we eventually get to see the other stations.

There's not much KNXV, which has gone toward its tabloid appearance.

KSAZ has instituted the Fox 10 name and the "Fox News 10" logo (that was soon revised).

KTVK has an Arizona Lottery drawing at 1:56:40. Jim Howl struggles to read "Consejo Latino de Salud" — he would leave within a couple of years.

KPHO is in its mid-late 90s newsroom set. At 2:12:33 is a promo for Arizona 5 News at 5 and 6, read by Scott Chapin.

And here's a KNTV newscast from 1992:

WCMH visits a competitor (?) in 1993. Public access TV. Interesting look at WCMH after a late 1992 revamp:

Ah, the promise of Public Access TV in the '90s!

Doug Adair and Colleen Marshall were their shortest-lived anchor team. Adair left not too long after this clip and was replaced by Cabot Rea, who recently retired in 2016.

Doug left in 1994 retired. Angela Pace had left CMH for BNS in 1992 and Doug/Colleen worked for a hot minute. Colleen was on the weekends until Angela left. Gail Hogan was on LIVE at FIVE & 5:30 LIVE. Cabot Rea, had been with the station a long time and took over for Doug Adair. Cabot, was weeknight main anchor from 1994-2016 (22 Years) but had a total 31 years at CMH. Colleen still going and she been there since 1987. 31 years total. Jerry Revish as been at BNS for 38 years.

It definitely was after December 1994, but there’s no material on YouTube from 1995 for KPHO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdVQwaGHkXo Plus what’s laughable is how modern their “Fresh News” graphics looked yet their quality and news presentation was so dated and done to death.
