onthesea 292
Canal 13's final segment of the noon news (includes summary and closer) from Monday, July 14, 1997. That midday newscast moved to 1pm in March of 1998, and expanded to a full hour, where it remains to this day.
ChesapeakeTV 310
15 minutes of KMSP's Minnesota 9 News in 1996 - no open, and the theme in the bumpers doesn't ring any bells for me, but Californians here may recognize one of the anchors. Seems like a very interesting look... Â

Note the L3’s are same in this newscast

hmaxhanson 649
Lots of old Austin stuff, and theres more where that came from! hmaxhanson 649
And two more... My guess is 1986 or 1987.  And that KTVV clip from 1985 is very weird. My guess is that they had a previous package with that logo before this one:
sfomspphl 453
WCBS August 1984 5pm - great wide shot of the dual sets at the end when they throw to the 6pm. WWUpdate 1290
From the beautiful town of Madison, WI, here WISC's midday news from 1991 with the unknown WBBM-like theme: Â Â Here's the original theme as heard on WBBM: Â
Samantha 2873
The WISC and WHTM early 90s themes were also written by Sheldon Elias who did the WBBM theme. Â A further offspring, though not done by Elias, was the KFDA early 90s package by Eric Enfalt which accompanied two generations of WBBM ripoff opens.
