After 46 years on the anchor desk, John Pruitt of WSB (and formerly WXIA) steps down from the 6 o'clock news but he will remain at WSB doing special assignments and hosting "Georgia's Hidden Treasures." Justin Farmer will take over the 6pm news, he already anchors the 5 & 11pm edition.

Hope John enjoys the easier schedule. Being a on-air anchor for nearly a half-century is quite an achievement.
