Joey1986 22 Posted November 15, 2010 Share Posted November 15, 2010 Well, it appears that as of last Monday (Nov. 8), ABC 7 has jumped on the "show-time-and-temp-on-all-newscasts-instead-of-just-the-morning-news" bandwagon. I noticed it during their 11 AM newscast. Then I noticed it again on their 4 PM newscast. It appears to be a trend in this and other markets. After all, CBS 2/KCAL 9 do this, as do NBC 4, KTLA 5, Univision 34, and, if I'm not mistaken, Telemundo 52. Wonder if it's only a matter of time before Fox 11 starts this practice? They've been doing that since the graphics update back in early 2008... While we're at it, they have been working on new graphics by Hothuas since January and the only thing they have updated with the new stuff are their promos and teasers.
