Weeters 1749
CNN's new roundtable political discussion show debut this week from CNN's old Election Center set in New York City. Image Courtesy CNN (http://www.facebook.com/parkerspitzer) The "Parker Spitzer" "set" features a number of movable panels that cover over the existing set and incorporate the large existing rear projection screen into them. These panels create a round environment that works well with the roundtable format the show uses. It's a creative use of a set that already exists without the expense of building, designing and installing a completely new set, along with the possibility of having to overhaul the studio. The set as it appeared in 2008. You can see these monitors in another Parker Spitzer photo here. Photo courtesy of a friend of TVNT. The panels were designed by Clickspring Design. Geoffrey 777
Wow, I had no idea it was the same set. I thought for sure they had it in a different location. Good catch and nice pics!

On another picture they seem to have covered over part the existing set with a black fabric, but the floor patterns remain the same.
C Block 1476
But they are building a new set in the former Lou Dobbs studio. I saw it a few days ago in an interview with Ingrid Betancourt and Rick Sanchez, but all they showed were a few chairs and a nighttime NYC backdrop. budtkaboy2000 0
That was where they were doing the DL Hughley show from.
C Block 1476
Are you sure? It looked different. Here are my caps of it. I don't want to them because they're too large. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4125/5031206807_6be937d357_b.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4153/5031207017_09844c1848_b.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4145/5031823334_f0feefa6f9_b.jpg

Also how are you getting those screencaps?!
C Block 1476
I'm pretty sure some of the promos for ParkerSpitzer were filmed in it. As for the caps, well...I made them myself?? If you're asking how I made them, I just use a 6-pin FireWire cable and connect it from my Comcast box into my Mac. I can't get YouTube-ready HD video out of it, but I can make HD caps. Ah, that's what I was wondering. I can do that too but it's a hassle.
