When did HLN get rid of the ticker?

Whoa— it is gone. Not that I ever watch "HLN" anymore (sadly), but I liked their flipper.

Sadly? I think it's a good thing you're not watching HLN. It's like those supermarket tabloids in TV network form. :ack:

I just tuned in to see if their ticker was gone. Their ticker is still there.

Hmm, probably for their shows (Nancy Grace, Clark Howard, Showbiz Tonight, etc.).

Wait a minute. I'm watching HLN now. No ticker on the primetime shows.

UPDATE (9:15pm): I was watching "Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell". No ticker.

I thought the ticker you guys were talking about was their SportsTicker that was used 24 hours on the weekend and starting at 5PM weekdays (once 9AM hit, it switched to a stock ticker).

I'm glad not watching HLN anymore (or HN, however you want to call it); the switch in formats in 2001 was disgusting.
