Canadian election coverage

Hello all,

Most of you guys aren't probably aware of this, but there is an election campaign going on in Canada, and Election Day is on October 14 (Tuesday).

All of the major national networks in Canada will be doing election night coverage, with some of the networks splitting coverage between the national election centre and the local stations.

You can watch the following networks online tomorrow night starting at 9pm ET (or whenever the polls close in that timezone).

CBC - Their coverage will only be on a national level (no local segments). You can find the links at cbc.ca/canadavotes.

Radio-Canada - CBC's French language television network will also have coverage online at radio-canada.ca.

CTV - Coverage will be a mix of national and local results. You can watch at election.ctv.ca. If you want to see coverage on the local level, select the "Local Stations" button at the top of the page and select the city you would like to visit.

Global - National and local coverage, with 20 minutes of each hour being given to local Global and E! stations. Go to http://www.globaltv.com/election for live video, or select the Global/E! station from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.

A - Most of the "A" stations will be doing local coverage starting at 9pm ET, but no clue if they will be broadcasting any of that online.

Not sure what the smaller English networks (CityTV, Omni) or the other French networks (TQS, TVA) will be doing tomorrow night.

Being in the States, I watched CBC's coverage on C-SPAN. And instead of sitting at a desk this time, Peter Mansbridge wandered around the Barbara Frum Atrium with his main colleagues (Keith Boag, Rex Murphy, Wendy Mesley, the "At Issue" panel) around him. As always, they were top-notch and the graphics were more sharper than last election.

Somebody could fill in on how CTV and Global fared.
