FOX 61 plans later on this month to expand their morning newscast from 6-8am to 4:30-9am. They're also planning on adding an 11pm show to compete with Channels 3, 8 & 30.

More on the news here from Hartford Business website.

The extended Fox 61 Morning News just took off today. The logo looks similar to the Fox O&Os, yet there is a Futura "61" in the blue field housing the Fox searchlights. The new news music is the Fox O&O News Theme by OSI Music. Yea, even non-Fox O&Os are not immune to teh standardized Fox O&O package.
