A small preview of how SIC's newscasts will look like beginning tomorrow (January 27), as the Portuguese station moves to a new facility in Paço de Arcos (Lisbon) after being 26 years in Carnaxide. There's also a retrospective of the "old" studios, from the very beginning!

I was following this from a truck operators Instagram. I knew they were moving but not the specifics.

Intro and full broadcast of "30 Millones", ATC's nightly news program in 1984 that was relayed to dozens of stations across the country, anchored by the late Roberto Maidana. Includes appearances from newscasters Mónica Gutiérrez (now with América 2) and Silvia Martínez (now with Canal 13/Todo Noticias). The program aired every weeknight from 9 to 10pm.

The presentation at the beginning reminded me of those from Antenne 2 in France during the late 1970s and early 1980s, where the camera moves around the studio while the announcer reads the headlines.

The presentation of SIC's new facilities, with João Moleira at the old studios in Carnaxide to anchor the station's lunchtime broadcast and Bento Rodrigues at the new home in Paço de Arcos. Unfortunately the new set wasn't shown yet: I assume it's going to be unveiled tonight on the evening newscast. It's interesting to see that the station still has a copy of the document that allowed it to go to air in 1992.

And here it is! SIC's new set and graphics that premiered on its evening newscasts tonight: includes a new music theme.

(UPDATE) The closer of the evening newscast and a teaser of SIC Noticias' main newscast, which also debuted a new set tonight.

A local news update from Canal 5 (Rosario) in 2000, presented by Erica Fontana. She moved to Buenos Aires in 2006 and became one of Telefe's main anchors. The station aired two-minute updates during the afternoon and had an early evening newscast (7pm weeknights), opposing to Telefe, that removed the broadcast from its schedule in 1999.

A small bit of the opening and ending of newscast of Manchete Network in Brazil, pretty much during the station's last breath, a couple of months before leaving the air. At this stage 85% of the staff was on strike. This newscast was the only live program at this stage.

A promo of Canal 7's Desayuno in 2001. It was pretty succesful at the time because it was the only TV program during the breakfast hours: the other stations (America, Azul Television, Telefe and Canal 13) didn't sign-on until or after 10am, when the program ended. It was canceled in 2006.

Intro, graphics and music theme from Agro Sintesis, a farm news program that Canal 13 aired weekdays at 6:30am between 2010 and 2014, before the start of the morning news. The graphics reel is from Bruno Scopazzo's YouTube account, who designed them!

A lovely moment: news anchor Guillermo Andino introduces himself on TV in 1987 at the young age of 19, when he was asked to replace his late father on the program he anchored on Canal 13. There's also a blooper included from 10 years later (1997) when he became the target of a prank call on live TV.

On March 3, Chile's Canal 13 relaunched their Teletrece (T13) bulletins in celebration of the channel's 60th anniversary. I really like the music; better than the previous package in my opinion. Some of the graphics are a bit small and hard to see, though.

The final segment and closer of One News in 2006, where Kate Hawkesby recaps the headlines that will be on the next day's papers. The forecast is presented without a voiceover, while a salsa version of "Smoke on the Water" is the background music. Plus, a long promo of One News with the slogan "Your News".

A closer of Multimedios Television's Telediario from Christmas 2006, using Overture as its theme.

And finally, the closer of the midday edition of Telenueve on January 16, 2012, the day the newscasts began to be broadcast in HD. At the time the news service was a low-budget one: the newscasts were anchored by one person (all of them were guys) and the set was a watered-down version of the one used between 2003 and 2008. Beginning in 2014, Telenueve was boosted by returning to a two-anchor format (men and women) and premiered new sets and graphics.

Here's an interesting 1994 clip from Australia. It includes the final SCN News intro and, at the 0:40 mark, a report about "aggregation," a comprehensive (and somewhat confusing) reorganization of regional television in Australia:
