Sounds like it will air primarily on CW stations.

There was a tidbit in one of the articles when this was going into the market that CMV was telling stations with the current Judge Judy package NOT to pick up Judy Justice; kinda wonder if that’s the reason why a lot of the current Judge Judy station groups passed on this

Interesting. Well, WCNC doesn’t have room for it anyway unless Tegna ditched Daily Blast Live.

Since all the episodes are available on-demand lately it's probably more that than anything rather than CBS mob-tacting them; at the end of the day it's yet another 'if you haven't seen it, it's new to you' syndicated package that fills an easy hour and captures the audience which doesn't want to deal with Freevee. And it certainly isn't original content in 2024.

What is CBS going to do, take away their Dr. Phil reruns? No, not the Dr. Phil reruns from 2018 we air at 4am anyways that OWN and Pluto also air and will clog Merit Street soon, please don't take those. 😐

They could take away new J!/WOF, Drew Barrymore, and the news magazines, but that's about it.

I bet WPXI will try to air it at 3pm.  JJ used to always win its timeslot against 2 and 4.  Even beating Oprah, of course the Pittsburgh market is older and quirky.  GMA consistently beats Today and Guiding Light got consistently strong  ratings until the end.

Wouldn't shock me if it ends up airing at that time on WPXI. You are right that Judy did well in the timeslot before the evening news. But regardless of what time it airs, there will be schedule changes at PXI come September.

If WSOC/WAXN get it it will probably air at 4 on WSOC and the 4:00 Feud could move to WAXN. If WJZY/WMYT get it, it might have to go to 2pm on WJZY or 4pm on WMYT if there’s a head to head rule because WCNC has Judge Judy at 3.

Judy Justice more likely goes on WOTV be good to put The Goldbergs on WXSP or CW West Michigan. Unless Wood TV wants to put in the 2PM or 3PM hour but they don't seem to want to change anything unless they really have to do it. Could see Judy go up against each other as WZZM has had Judge Judy forever.

things are sliding back a full 10+ years in orlando.

starting monday 2/12 on WKMG:

- entertainment tonight (which has ceased to be tonight at this point, unless they plan on telling the future or what they think will be that night’s entertainment) and inside edition are gonna be on at 9/9:30am

- Drew Barrymore is on at 3pm (again. it was already at 3pm in September) -  but now it’s the full hour

- 4pm is a full hour of news again

- after 13 years, news 6 at 7pm is over. the series finale is tonight at 7pm. apparently they are relaunching 6:30pm news albeit online. ET and Inside Edition will be at 7/7:30pm - the first time the CBS O&O schedule format has ever been used here. The 1:37am inside edition repeat is gone for good.

WESH indirectly changed the entire flow of things here in orlando.

Just read about that on Discord and came to see if you had posted. WKMG has made a lot of changes this season.

I think it would most likely go to KPTM here in the Big O like they usually do, or if they’re “lucky enough”, one of the morning slots where Cutlers Court or Divorce Court usually is on CW Omaha (Maybe one of the timeslots with Maury, possibly).

One side effect of the Dabl management deal has quietly appeared on Weigel's Start TV; they now air that day's DREW episode at 1am weeknights for the night owls who don't have local stations that repeat the episode overnight (or only half of it), a la Kelly airing on Bravo the same way.

I believe that started after Dabl switched from lifestyle shows to Black sitcoms. I noticed StartTV had started airing Drew while late-night channel surfing a couple of weeks after the Dabl format change.

It's notable that Lionsgate is taking point here instead of the Carsey-Werner Company, which still has an active syndication business (though its been a long time since C-W actually sold a show directly to broadcast stations).

Considering the underlined portion and the fact that Carsey-Werner isn't credited as a series production company (it's instead produced under Werner's and star Sara Gilbert's own production companies, which later merged [at least in-name] after season 1), that's most likely why Lionsgate was contacted to distribute the series.

I knew that Judge Judy repeats were going to be renewed although quite surprised that TEGNA wasn't named in the article about this renewal they weren't mentioned either for Judy Justice either. Who The Bleep Is That isn't going to get a second season that was only in a handful of TV markets largely in the big markets a few smaller/midsize markets like in West Michigan at the start of the new year.

Crime Stories is being pitched for syndication for the 2024-05 season hosted by former Access Hollywood & ET anchor Nancy O'Dell always liked Nancy.
