MidwestTV 1136
Unless this is unique to WMUR, Hearst appears to be updating its look. Less diagrid, more curves.
maddog363 21
I'm sure this has always been the case exclusively for WMUR
bostonmediaguy 118
WMUR has a unique package.
TSSZNews 1032
Yes, MUR needs to have something that's distinct from the main Hearst look used on WCVB so there isn't viewer confusion. Has been that way for 20+ years now.
GoldenShine9 1469
It has kind of a Gray feel to the package in some ways.
GodfreyGR 422
The WMUR update aside, Hearst's package is one that has aged incredibly gracefully over the years.

Has been that way for 20+ years now. WCVB and, to a lesser extent, WMTW and WPTZ/WNNE. Basically, it's the curse of a large chunk of New Hampshire being in Boston's shadow. If there was just a little more distance between Manchester and Boston -- say, ten or twenty miles -- things might be different. WNNE would still be an NBC affiliate, WNHT would still exist as a CBS affiliate, and WMUR would have the standard Hearst graphics package.
BluesNews 178
WESH would generally be the first to roll out new graphics, i.e. since the hub is there and historically, they have been the first. If new graphics do roll out eventually, it starts there. Edited December 30, 2022 by KentBrockman
