WSAV new set soon

Isn’t Nexstar doing better than many groups (tegna, Gray, Sinclair, and etc.) with set design lately?

Corner news desks…. Almost ALL news desks are in the corner of the studio one way or another. Things just work that way with small spaces that make up many television news studios. It’s all about the perspective of the camera. Maybe it’s just more obvious lately…

Isn’t a live window view of the city better than a printed duratran or fabric like they have now??

let’s see what they do! Maybe WCBD will be an indicator.

Missed this post from September 13. Kim Gusby gave a little walkthrough of the new studio. It appears mostly finished, but it still hasn’t made its debut on air two weeks later. As expected, it looks awfully a lot like WCBD. Perhaps the most unique part of it is the engraved “On Your Side” slogan.
