Georgie56 2398
Starting this thread very early due to the massive broadcast booth shakeups during the off-season. With Buck out, Burkhardt is in as Fox’s lead NFL voice.
CTrey98 8
Amazon has announced their first Thursday Night Football telecast will be a Week 2 matchup between the Chargers and Chiefs. Sounds like there will be no preseason broadcast this year but things could change.
Georgie56 2398
Huge change here: the 2022-23 season will be the last under the "NFC on Fox, AFC on CBS" guidelines. 1

I guess that means that someone gets to be temporary #1 analyst this season, knowing that they won't get to keep their role unless Fox goes with a 3-man booth in the future.
Georgie56 2398
Fox has picked Greg Olsen to call Super Bowl LVII with Kevin Burkhardt. Guessing this also means he's also keeping the seat warm for Brady throughout the season until he retires. Georgie56 2398
With preseason starting tonight with the Hall of Fame Game, NBC has debuted a new logo for Football Night in America. Assuming a new SNF logo is coming a bit later, as well.
JCB4TV 314
The previous FNIA and SNF Logos were in use from its 2006 launch, which probably meant it was time for a refresh.

RGSJenkins 400
My favorite part of the NFL preseason, local telecasts! First up: WNBC (Giants), the replays are from the current package.
Georgie56 2398
Preseason starts in earnest tonight, so time for the annual TVNT tradition of posting teams’ preseason graphics. Here are the Patriots. Same as last year. EDIT: Ravens: Edited Friday at 01:09 AM by Georgie56

Viper550 221 Posted yesterday at 03:06 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:06 AM KPIX got bumped up to the previous CBS graphics, after having used a custom look for god knows how long. The Jaguars have a new one that is all over the place (and "ARIZ" is a very irregular abbreviation)
DJonNews 13 Posted yesterday at 03:26 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:26 AM (edited) Nice to see that the Cincinnati Bengals are using the exact same scorebug from eight years ago... (And no, the flat look they've been using for the scorebug since last year isn't fooling me. Also, "ARIZ?") And as for the Philadelphia Eagles... nothing more needs to be said, since it's also the same package from earlier for this team. DJonNews 13 Posted yesterday at 03:48 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:48 AM (edited) Also, remember the 2016 CBS scorebug KPIX used? They're using the current CBS Sports graphics package (with the TT Norms font) on top of that, so that is actually two different looks being used at once. tjt24 244
New graphics for Steelers broadcasts this year. Looks to be an in-house job. The team must be producing the games this year as there was a Steelers Media Productions tag at the beginning of the game.

This is completely redone with the Steelers Communications team taken over and KDKA-TV isn't shown at all in this package. Although I did notice NFL Network didn't scale the feed so the down marker is getting covered up by the ticker (not that it's also on the field too). It's a better version of NBC's new SNF scoreboard than NBC's SNF scoreboard. Honestly, just change the font to TT Norms and that wouldn't look too out of place on CBS. Seahawks on KING isn't any different than last time. Edited 17 hours ago by Viper550
