Agree. It gives the show a lot more depth and looks so much better visually.  Don’t know why they can’t go back to on set every week. 

Significantly cheaper using a green screen. Less space needed, fewer stage hands. I assume the set used for Christmas is in storage the rest of the year.

In two weeks, Sunday Morning will have its 45th anniversary (45 years to the day since the first broadcast in 1979); will the show do something to commemorate, or will it be just a run-of-the-mill broadcast?

Beautiful tribute to Charles Osgood today. And really made you see how much the show is a former shell of itself. Charles was so curious and seemed to bring that curiosity into the show each week. Jane Pauley really doesn’t do that, and is there to really just introduce the stories. If Charlie was still hosting, it would still be on set. Otherwise where would they put the piano???
