Looks like TMZ Live, People’s Court and Judge Mathis are staying on WJZY for yet another year as all those shows start new seasons that day. And the latter two keep their runs on WMYT. They need to just be on WMYT. 

Clarkson is going to WCCB. Don't know what time she'll be on though.

I missed this. And WCCB hasn’t updated their zap2it for September 6. I know Nick Cannon will be on at 4 so I’m thinking Drew will move to 2 and Ellen will move to 3. So not sure what will replace the CW Springer at 1.

In case anyone here has not heard, Mayim Bialik is the first guest host to fill-in on "Jeopardy!" until they find a new permanent host to fill Alex Trebek's spot.  She will tape 15 episodes.

I said on Discord they should let her do it til Call Me Kat starts taping. Who knew they’d actually listen to me!   And I think they are going to try to work around Call Me Kat.

On TMZ Live today, they were talking with one of their viewers, who said Mayim Bialik could host the syndicated version, and LeVar Burton could host the primetime specials. I think that's an interesting idea.

He wasn't terrible, but he just seemed nervous. Stumbling over his words and getting too excited during responses. They should've given him two weeks. I had high expectations for him.

Here in Topeka, there's usually not many changes in ol' Market 143. WIBW, the Gray station, is bringing the atrocious Funny You Should Ask to 3p, bumping Modern Family reruns to post-Corden, while losing the Two and a Half Men rights. KSNT, the flagship of four stations operated by Nexstar (counting CW+), is only adding You Bet Your Leno at 1a. 

 

But KTMJ, its Fox station is making beau coup changes -- mainly flipping the morning court shows and the afternoon talk shows. It's also following the Nexstar talk wave, likely named "Living Local,"  at 9a, consolidating its 7a "AM Live" newish show and its "Fox 43 @4" lifestyle-ish.

 

The rest is pretty wholesale changes, like I haven't seen at any station in decades. Here's the before/after:

KEYE has apparently dropped Tamron Hall. They had her in overnight after Barrymore premiered. 

 

I don't think she should have that difficult of a time finding a new Austin station.

The FOX O&O's are airing a preview special for You Bet Your Life this weekend. WWOR My 9 is airing it Sunday at 3:30 PM and WNYW FOX 5 will air it later that day at 6:30 PM. It will also air on Monday 9/13 at 2:30 PM on both stations.

I believe that YBYL special is available for all affiliates to air, not just the Fox O&Os, so keep an eye out for that in the listings for markets where an affiliate hasn't been announced yet. KEYE hasn’t aired Tamron at all this season … daytime or overnights. They replaced it in the 4p slot with Drew. I thought it might wind up on Nexstar’s KNVA (CW) or KBVO (MyTV), but nope. Sad the ratings weren’t better here … she’s from Luling in Caldwell County, which is in the Austin DMA.

I thought they did for a little while but I guess I was mistaken.

She was pretty good. At this point, Pat Sajak could probably do both shows without a hitch. Tell viewers "I'll see you on Jeopardy" at the end of Wheel...

 

And as for Funny You Should Ask, that awful show needed to be canned two years ago. Jon Lovitz always on there doing mediocre jokes and a $5,000 bonus round? What is this...1971? Brought to you by that guy who brought former TV judges back to do fake court cases. 

 

KCYU/KFFX in central Washington adds Seinfeld reruns beginning Labor Day. Divorce Court gets dumped from the schedule. That gives KCYU a 4 hour sitcom block in the afternoon/evening. King of Queens double run, 2 Broke Girls double, Seinfeld double, and LMS double. I assume Young Sheldon will NOT air on KCYU with their sitcom-heavy schedule, and my assumptions about KIMA/KEPR getting reruns may be coming true.
