Megatron81 179
Young Shelton on WOTV at 5PM & 2AM which Black-ish will be moved to a single run or move to sister TV station WXSP or The Goldburgs move to WXSP or that just gets a single run on WOTV. No Young Shelton & Big Bang pairing would've been a good pair on CW7. I wonder when You Bet Your Life will have the timeslot up on the website? mrschimpf 2050
Don't know if this fits here, but NBC ended distribution of A Little Late on the 13th, and now 1:37/12:37 a.m. is in the hands of the affiliates for now. It looks like many stations have chosen either to air 11 p.m. news repeats or the NBC Nightly News, though quite a few will likely pack in Yet Another Infomercial (really rooting for NBC to have demanded either type of newscast replay to get the timeslot rather than the latter). It's a lousy slot for all but the most terrible corporate must-runs. Edited August 17, 2021 by mrschimpf

phillynewslover 126
WCAU is airing a repeat of their 11p news from 1:37a to 2:07a, followed by the Nightly repeat. If this is just temporary while they find a replacement, I wouldn’t be surprised if they aired The Amber Ruffin Show from Peacock.

Greggo 340
KPRC/Houston is repeating the 10p news, followed by a second run of Dr. Phil, then 3 infomercials. That means Impossible Jokers is JIP 12 minutes into the show so they can hit Early Today on time. Less than ideal. VHSgoodiesWA 281
NBC probably told their affiliates to replay the 11:00 news rather than go to syndicated programming at 1:37. Thus, everyone seems to be piping in a tape of news (or Lester) rather than a syndicated newsmagazine or a repeat of a talk show.
KS-IL-IA 40
Here in Topeka, KSNT has moved up the ET rerun by a half-hour to 12:35a, adding a rerun of Inside Edition (which it's run at 2p for quite some time) at 1:05. Maybe we didn't get the memo.

From my quick schedule checks, some Nexstar stations seem to be the ones shrugging it off; WOOD-TV has ''TMZ'' in the slot, for instance.

KLAF in Lafayette, LA, airs Funny You Should Ask, which is produced by Entertainment Studios, the sister company to Allen Media Broadcasting (which owns KLAF and Fox sister station KADN) For KPLC in Lake Charles, it's a repeat of their 10p news, which, to my knowledge, is the first time that's happened since the late '80s-early '90s (back then, it followed Later with Bob Costas at 1am, and this lasted until the debut of the long since cancelled NBC News Nightside sometime in '91)
sanewsguy 509
In before the mods say "no list threads" lol. WOAI-TV just replaced it with Nightly News and an infomercial if anyone cared (NN goes in at 1:06am where an infomercial was already airing, then the infomercial moved to 1:37am where Lily Singh had been). BTW, they already delay Seth Meyers half an hour to air Access Hollywood at 11:37pm. The whole delaying the 11:35pm and 12:35am NBC programs has been done by WOAI going back to the KMOL days (and I believe an artifact of when they cleared UPN programming from 1998-2000). tyrannical bastard 3442
Nightly News is probably a default option for affiliates who don't want to (or can't) air a repeat of their late news. I pulled up the national listings, and it has Nightly News at 1:37ET/12:37CT. Followed by a repeat of the 4th hour of Today. Easier to leave that time with the network, especially if it's only temporary. Edited August 19, 2021 by tyrannical bastard
patlovestv 12
Not the first time NBC has tried this out. From WSJ in 2017: Quote Sometimes networks sneak in a second airing of a show and add the additional viewers to tally of the original telecast and hope no one notices. NBC in 2015 persuaded almost a dozen of its local TV station affiliates to rerun "Nightly News" after 2 a.m. At the time, NBC said, it was focused "on ways to reach our audience when and how they want to be reached." In Los Angeles, KABC runs ABC World News 2x in early fringe...once at 3:30 p.m. (taking the East Coast feed) and again at 6:30. I'd go so far as to assume this kind of ratings ploy is also behind the trend of double-running syndicated shows like Disney's "Tamron Hall" and "Kelly & Ryan" during overnight hours. This is the first affiliate I have heard of to move LMAD to the afternoon. It makes much more sense at 10/9, unless an affiliate airs a game show after it at 4/3. But is Drew live at 10/9?
