Rachael Ray will move to the afternoons to make room for a new show on WGN Chicago. https://tvnewscheck.com/more-news/journalism/article/tonya-francisco-and-amy-rutledge-to-host-wgns-daytime-chicago-this-fall/

It’s OK, I figure it will replace one of the back to back airings of Maury.

Confirmed that WGN is moving Rachael Ray to 1pm to replace an airing of Maury. http://www.tdogmedia.com/2021/07/daytime-shakeup-coming-as-abc-7-adds-tamron-wgn-tv-launches-daytime-chicago.html

Can't remember the last time a lame duck station was thanked in a show's station move; makes me wonder if WCIU agreed to let Tamron (which was apparently doing well for them) go in exchange for other Disney programming.

The only other Disney show on WLS’ schedule is Kelly and Ryan, I doubt WCIU ends up with that but stranger things have happened. Now I could see WCIU get American Housewife reruns next year which are owned by Disney.

WCIU has a good relationship with the other stations in town. Still, a little odd for such a mention, but remember that ABC 7 aired news on The U for 4.5, and the elimination of it was mutually beneficial. There are no hard feelings there.

When Tamron’s show was originally picked up, it was by the ABC O&O group, including WLS. Because they could not find room on the schedule, it was sublicensed to WCIU. So I believe WLS was able to get it back when the opportunity presented itself.

No way Live with Kelly and Ryan is going anywhere. It used to air on WGN and when the opportunity presented itself WLS grabbed it. I feel like WLS over the years has attempted to match the schedule of it’s sister stations, and it’s basically achieved that now.

What kind of shop are they running at The Doctors?  This is like the third host to sue over the years...

A shop? The show is held by spit and chewing gum. They sent the whole team packing (including Travis) at the start of the pandemic. Then moved the show to Stamford, CT (cough - Maury - cough), replaced the team with one host (might as well call it "The Doctor"), and now he's gone.

Cancel this 0.2 share failure already Phil McGraw.

Technically the show is currently hosted by Andrew Ordon (one of that former team), but it'll still go on because the spon-con parts of the show make it profitable even as its only getting empty waiting rooms or insomniacs as its main audience. They also got free tax money from the state to make the 'move' to Connecticut even though the current setup could be done pretty much anywhere with four walls and a green screen in the world.

Dr. Oz moved to 2PM on WXSP because of the Olympics no Inside Edition which I'm surprised that Nexstar didn't move it to WOTV for 1:30AM which is a paid programming. Judge Mathis only run is 5AM will return 2PM time slot Aug 9 second run always been 5AM for a couple of years now.

After the Olympics ends next week WRAL is moving Kelly Clarkson from 11am to 2pm. The Doctors finally gets downgraded to sister station Fox 50 WRAZ at 3pm and Family Feud will air at 11am on WRAL. No word on what will air at 11am on WRAZ. It also says Nick Cannon will be on WRAZ.

Just saw a promo a few days ago for You Bet Your Life. It will be airing on WNWO at 3, replacing the Judge Judy library reruns.

I would have thought it would've been on WUPW, as sister show 25 Words or Less airs there, possibly replacing Who Wants to Be a Millionaire reruns.

Speaking of the Millionaire reruns, they currently air on Saturday nights on WCCB from 11pm to 1am It would make sense to plug in the Mike and Molly and 2 Broke Girls reruns (that currently air in the Saturday primetime slot) in that slot when the CW starts programming Saturday nights.

So we all know that the first-runs of Judge Judy are completed, and from what I gather there are still 2-4 reruns offered this fall.

But will the other court shows that have completed their run -- Paternity, Couples, Protection, Personal Injury -- still be offered in reruns?

In Charlotte it will be on WCCB at 4pm…that must be how they are going to replace the CW Jerry Springer…that means Drew Barrymore which is currently airing at 4, will be moving. I could see Steve Wilkos, Maury, and Drew all backing up an hour to 1, 2, and 3 respectively.

I wish KABB would stop carrying talk shows in late night. First Tamron and now Nick.

Has anyone heard anything regarding Nexstar’s FOX affiliate in St. Louis, MO?

Current daytime lineup includes Dish Nation, Dailymail TV, TMZ (airs twice,) Drew Barrymore, Hot Bench, and Judge Judy. They moved Wendy to KPLR last fall.

Just reached out to the station programming director of KPLR CW St. Louis. She says Wendy will likely continue to air live at 9am CST, followed by Nick Cannon at 10am.

The website lists the show’s timeslot as 1p. The program director might be more reliable, though.

Doesn’t look like WBBM is going to take the Judge Judy reruns, as they are launching a 4pm news this fall when Judy is currently airing.

I think they'd do better to air the Judge Judy reruns.  This just adds a fifth 4:00 newscast...
