WTTG New Building

Daybreak

They announced they were moving back in 2017.  They are moving into a brand new office tower at 7272 Wisconsin in downtown Bethesda. They are taking up 3 floors in the building.  Their current building will be torn down and a new apartment complex will be built on the site. Here’s a link to the building they are moving to: https://www.workthewilson.com

I understand they are also moving their broadcast transmission tower from DC to Bethesda in Maryland.

Yes, but not far (about a mile and a half).  They are going on a tower, off of River Rd, that is shared with a couple FM stations.

Pretty sure this tower site was the original home of WDCA prior to the digital transition, when it moved to WTTG's tower. WDCA's original studios are located here and are now used as a collision center after Fox bought them and consolidated them at the outgoing WTTG facility.

So in a way, it's a homecoming of sorts.

What newsroom isn’t a collision center?

This set turned out fantastic. I also love that they're using Bethesda skyline shots in the backgrounds vs DC monuments.

Does anyone know if they changed out the opens finally? I'm out of the market for a few weeks and haven't had a chance to catch anything on their online stream.
