Kenneth Kissel 90
This is the list of the best TV station news department to work for in each state across the United States. The best station in the state is not always in the biggest market and it is not always the top-rated station. But, you break down each station by a number of factors to come up with which is the best station in the state to work at. No station is perfect and none of the stations that are named the best in the state are perfect either. But, if you are looking to make a move to a certain state and you want a good place to work, this list should help you. Sadly, there were a few states where we could not name the best station. So, let's take a list of those stations that did top the list. Alabama -WBRC Alaska - KTUU Arizona - KOLD Arkansas - KHBS California - KCRA Colorado - KOAA Connecticut - WVIT Delaware - None Florida - WJXT Georgia - WSB Hawaii - KGMB Idaho - KIVI Illinois - WLS Indiana - WNDU Iowa - KCCI Kansas - KMBC Kentucky- WLKY Louisiana - WDSU Maine - WMTW Maryland - WJZ Massachusetts - WHDH Michigan - WDIV Minnesota - WCCO Mississippi - WLOX Missouri - KSDK Montana - KXLF Nebraska- KOLN Nevada - KVVU New Hampshire - WMUR New Jersey - None New Mexico - KRQE New York - WABC North Carolina - WRAL North Dakota - KFYR Ohio - WSYX Oklahoma - KOCO Oregon - KGW Pennsylvania - WPXI Rhode Island - WPRI South Carolina - WSOC South Dakota - KELO Tennessee - WTVF Texas - KPRC Utah - KSL Vermont - WCAX Virginia - WSLS Washington -KIRO West Virginia - WOWK Wisconsin - WISN Wyoming - None Washington, DC - WRC Link to article : https://www.patreon.com/posts/best-station-to-44528337
TheRob 591
I guess I have to be that guy and complain about KMBC being listed for Kansas, when it is licensed and physically located in Missouri. 8

And WSOC isn't in South Carolina. I mean, the market has 4 SC counties, but still, the vast majority is in NC.

That's really more of an indictment on the stations in Topeka and Wichita if anything.
qunewsguy 165
Considering the list is the best places to work at, not the "best station" it's a bit hard to debate the list unless you've actually worked in some of these places. 1
tyrannical bastard 2,058
WSYX being the best in Ohio just goes to show you how much Sinclair has put into this station and how far WBNS has fallen in the last decade, even before the Wolfe empire was broken up and sold.
