'10 On Your Side ' segment draws lawsuit

PORTSMOUTH - A Virginia Beach mortgage broker and two company officers have sued WAVY-TV 10, some of its affiliated companies and employees, and a viewer who complained about the company for defamation.

 

Mike and Val Robinson, chief executive officer and president, respectively, of D and D Home Loans Corp. in Virginia Beach claim the Portsmouth-based station and others defamed them and their business during an "10 On Your Side" segment that ran Feb. 3 called "Stolen House."

NBC doesn't even own the station so why would there be a suit on them?

 

On a side note WCAU is currently being sued by "Lifestyle Lifts" for the same reason.

 

Both suits seem like the offending business feel wronged that their money grabbing schemes were outted so they're crying foul.
