[WWLP doesn't] pre-empt the weekday run [of Wheel of Fortune] often, but when they do (including NFL kickoff this Thursday), they do not make up the show at all.

I stand corrected. I contacted them today asking if they had any plans to air Thursday's Wheel since it's the season finale, and they said it will air at 4:30 AM that morning (not the morning after; 14.5 hours early!!) on their CW+ subchannel. So much for other stations saying, "We're not allowed to air Wheel before 7:00".

WUPA has Drew Barrymore at 9:00 am; unsure about the other new additions, but the lineups on WSB, WAGA and WXIA will likely remain status quo.

Spoke a little too soon; WAGA now has Extra at midnight (a way better time slot than 2:07 am on WXIA), while Access Hollywood is back at 2:00 am.

Apparently, Extra may not move from Seattle's KONG to Q13 Fox, KCPQ, but it might either next fall or the fall after next. Fingers crossed. Correct me if I am wrong.

Syndicated programming is different from network. If KONG has an existent deal to carry the program, then it stays on KONG until that deal expires. And even when that happens, it's not always guaranteed that another station would get it. It could always be renewed by the incumbent station.

Oh, right. Teen Kids News may remain on KONG as well until that deal expires. That show used to air on Q13 Fox and KSTW CW 11 before that.

In Houston, “Extra” moves from KPRC (NBC) to KRIV (Fox O&O). It’ll air at 12:30p (same time it aired on KPRC). Overnight runs at midnight on KRIV and 3:30a on sister station KTXH (MyTV).

At 12:30p, KPRC replaces “Extra” with a rerun of the previous day’s “ET.” (Not really sure why they don’t just expand the noon news ... they are already doing 90 minutes of news from 11a to 12:30p.) The overnight run is replaced by a “Dr. Phil” repeat.

Let them have room to breathe. Why they need to go another half an hour? No one else is doing it at 12:30. 90 minutes is enough.

As for Fox 26 getting Extra this season, you would think it would be wise to put it on at 6:30pm, right after the new NewsEgde show.

______

Judge Judy is moving stations in San Diego.

As KFMB is starting their new 4pm show (and moving Evening with Norah from 6 to 5:30pm), Judy is moving from KFMB to KSWB with new eps at 3pm, and repeats (from a few seasons ago) at Noon.

You would have to wonder if 69 is going to keep the Judy repeats going once the original run ends next fall.

You would think...no good reason for a station to pick up originals for just one year if not getting the repeats.

KMSS is gonna have it in Shreveport and KMYS will have it in San Antonio. Nexstar got it in Austin and New Orleans.

WMYT will air it Saturdays at 1pm and WJZY Sundays at midnight...not sure if that is Saturday nights or Sunday mornings.
