edladd 9
Where is that in relation to the rest of the cavernous TV3?
Camera1 47
Thats it on the left side before the frosted glass wall was put up in front of it.

I'm assuming we're looking at the curved video wall, hanging up there? Either way, I've been confused as to how the new layout compares to the old set-up. Is this curved wall at the end of the old video wall, or is it where the GMA Weekend desk was (opposite the main desk)?
Camera1 47
In the previous construction photo, the new curved wall is not installed yet, but part of it'sn black frame can be seen on the right. The old WNT home base was on the right and GMA Weekend was on the left. This photo from earlier during demolition of the old set taken from almost the exact same spot in the upstairs gallery should help you get your bearings.
edladd 9
So funny...the Number One tv program according the Nielsen ratings, comes from that one tiny spot Edited June 10, 2020 by edladd

mountainave 295
Cool use of TV-3 for 20/20's Juneteenth special as seen below and in the beginning of each of the following video clips. Â Â Â
NumberOne 7
Saw this on Instagram... Wonder if this might be a little hint of the studio’s layout when WNT finally moves in?
Camera1 47
Yet another use of the new set, from the Chadwick Boseman tribute. A minor tweak, the last few steps on the spiral staircase have been turned outward as they were getting in the way of the swinging LED display.
MikePulse 315
WNT has finally moved in.
Camera1 47
To accommodate social distancing on election night, some analysts will not be on the TV-3 set, but be downstairs on The View set which has been very nicely redressed for the election.

Doesn't TV3 have a balcony of some sort?

24994J 3,498
Being 2 stories, windows from the next floor up overlook TV3, but I doubt any of them are open to the space below. That's non-TV workspace and hallways.

There is a door from the fourth floor gallery hallway to the set balcony, and from there you can walk down the spiral to the floor. However, the balcony itself is small, and not much headroom under the grid. 1
southern_boy_ 1
So has WNT got a new set? It looks the same to me (or similar as it always has).
KRAP-TV 87
I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that this space used to contain a sprawling (working) newsroom. And now it’s just mostly screens and desks.  I miss the good ole days of TV3!
noggi 223
Who worked in the newsroom in TV3? When I was at ABC there was a separate World News Tonight newsroom during the Charlie Gibson days.
Drew 73
If you looked around that newsroom didn’t have that many actual workers. It was like msnbc newsroom set had maybe 10-15 total. Their actual newsroom was a floor up. On Diane sawyers last night it showed it.

The only national newsroom set that was a working one was CBS before it made way for the the dual CBS This Morning set use, and now Washington studio. The one you see on-air from time to time at FOX News is legit, too.
MorningNews 680
The FNC set that Shep was on was ac actual newsroom as well correct?
