This is an interesting job posting from Lilly's Erie stations (WICU/WSEE)...

-"Full-time multimedia journalist to report on programs and projects helping people who are economically disadvantaged. We will highlight solutions and creative ideas making a difference in Northwest Pennsylvania."

-Also says they'll hire former print or digital reporters for the position.

Could this be the start of a return to beat reporting? Do other stations have positions like this?

They are lucky they got the new ND that they did. (Scott MacDowell from WIAT). I met him...he's a nice guy and is very passionate about continuing the rapid ratings growth of the stations and continuing to improve the product.

Here's more info for anyone interested.
