WXTV getting a new set?

I've been noticing that WXTV 41, the Univision station in my area have been doing news from their newsroom for sometime. Is a new set incoming for the station or am I going crazy?Screenshot_(360).thumb.png.48479471533853f3a4737bedd250a823.png

EDIT: The image above is from an earlier newscast from two weeks ago. The image below shows some changes to the news room so it seems it's inevitable that a new set is on it's way.

Before the move to the newsroom they appeared to be using much less of the studio and having the anchors stand at the green screen.

I'd guess you are right and the studio is getting a remodel.

For the first block on the evenings they use the chroma-key, for the rest of the newscast, they use the newsroom.

Most of the newscast was done from the newsroom except for the weather forecast.

Is this part if the new studio or an existing part of the old studio?

Neither. On the weekends, weather is outsourced to the Univision Weather Hub in Houston since 2017. Weekdays are still done in-house in Teaneck, NJ.

Just wondering, is this the successor to their previous weather brand called "Centro Meteorologico Univision"?

Wow Univision must be doing really bad for them to be outsourcing weather for damn market #1...

Kind of like Telemundo under GE ownership where a decent amount of newscasts around the southwest were outsourced to Houston I think.
