The Ever-Evolving Gray Graphics Situation...Thread

Moderators - can you please consider renaming this thread to “Gray Graphics” since this thread has long passed the scope of the topic…and ironically, the WOIO graphics aren’t even the standard Gray graphics.

(It might be a better idea than being rude to people who post threads with this topic/title, then belittle them and shut down the thread…)

WWNY has upgraded to the KFDA/WALB package (although it has yet to switch to the accordant ticker template)…

It’s an upgrade from what they had before:

Yeah. What they had previously they bought off Envato Marketplace.

Say what you want about how overused packages are, I'm just proud that with Gray combining brandings in the Dakotas ("Dakota News Now" at KSFY/KDLT, "Valley News Live" at KVLY/KXJB, "Your News Leader" at the KFYR/KMOT...) that they've kept two separate identities this long in a small market like Rapid City.

To update, WTOK now has new graphics and a new name, "WTOK News 11."

Gross. Another station picked up the beehive package… This isn’t a “new look” I’d be bragging about.

WTOK switched to the new graphics and had a major building renovation and technology upgrade. The station now uses the Momentum News music package by Non-Stop Music.

For Meridian, it looks pretty good. I’m not a fan of this package or the music, but it fits them and the community well.

With all of that "updating" and "refreshing", you would think they would have a brand new studio set........

Seems that they've switched to the similar graphic pack WAVE 3 received.

Glad it wasn't the honeycomb look. Looks nice though.

New morning team this morning on WKYT as well.

Now lets get WYMT a new look.

KWQC TV 6 in the Quad Cities added this yellow/orange banner in their newscast! Could this be a sign that new graphics could be instore? The current graphics have been in use since 2019 and they used a short-lived graphics package currently used by KCRG TV9 in Cedar Rapids.image.thumb.png.173638c8823eeec7fcf0311245bb5658.png
