Former WTTG Anchor going to WUSA Morning starting 11/9: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10224674913760126&set=a.1129848846291&type=3

Congrats to Allison! FTVLive had a similar "exclusive" scoop a few days back about her. I don't think anyone can be surprised by this. She joins Tony Perkins and Annie Yu, among others, who've also switched to WUSA from Fox 5. All eyes on Shawn Yancy now with regards to her next move or if she ultimately chooses to move away from television.

Well - I mean, with Bruce Johnson retiring....and her and Lesli Foster being close friends as well, I could see her there.

Imagine being a reporter or working behind the scenes at WUSA. The bosses have now paid money to lure 3 primary anchors away from WTTG and yet, they’re still in 4th place. And still, everyone’s being asked to shoulder the load of corporate pain, taking unpaid furloughs, etc.

Imagine being one of the many reporters who were offered weeklong tryouts for the spot on Get Up and getting slapped in the face like this. Really poor news leadership over there. Absolutely pathetic.

You’re absolutely right. There’s little doubt they were going to go after another anchor in the market, so to string their existing talent along is pretty low.

Anchor changes are happening beginning next week in the month of November.

First, over at Birmingham's CBS 42 (WIAT) Art Franklin and Jack Royer are swapping anchor seats next week. Royer will move to the morning (4:30-7am) and Noon, while Franklin will join Katherine

Mozzone at 4pm and longtime anchor Sherri Jackson at 5, 6, & 10pm

Finally, over in La Crosse, WI. WXOW (ABC 19) / WQOW (ABC 18) morning anchor Dustin Luecke will move from the morning show to the evening and late newscasts replacing longtime anchor Scott Hackworth, who announced he's retiring Nov. 5th. Luecke first night as the new main anchor will be Friday, Nov. 6th.

Major shakeup in Colorado Springs on the heels of a station tragedy...

KKTV main anchor Dianne Derby has resigned from the station today, less than two months after her longtime co-Anchor, Don Ward, unexpectedly passed away. The two were very close, and she took a leave of absence most of last month. Just yesterday, the station announced morning anchor Adam Atchison would be promoted to Ward’s old position. Now, they have another main anchor spot to fill with Derby’s departure.

43 years doing weather at one station... That's got to be a record right? Dave Dahl calling it quits at KSTP.

I have a hunch Ken Barlow will take the helm as Chief when Dave retires in December.
