WXYZ’s weekend co-anchor Breanne Palmerini is leaving to take a main anchor role in a smaller market. Sports reporter Kacie Hollins is looking elsewhere. This will leave WXYZ with only 4 real anchors for the whole station.

Holy Quac!

What kind of sad heel goes to KRON from KTVU as a result of a failed contract renewal bid.

WTF...whoops!

(I would have done everything in my power to stay at KTVU just so I could AVOID the commute to KRON)

Legendary WUSA anchor Andrea Roane has announced her retirement, effective in July.

She always reminds me of former WGN-er Robert Jordan. Maybe it was the calm delivery they shared.

Anyway, here’s to a happy retirement to her.

Wonder if they’re dropping The Real or Maury.

WDSU is moving The Real to 11:00 a.m., dropping Maury off its schedule for the first time since 1991 (Having Maury on an NBC affiliate is the rarest of the rare.)

I'm fucking heartbroken to pass this along, but longtime WUSA anchor/reporter Bruce Johnson has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma....

Bruce will be taking an indefinite LoA from the anchor desk to battle this.

Washington DC is losing a lot of great legendary broadcasters. I remember we lost Brenner, Michael, Solly, Robinson, and recently last year we lost Vance. I hope

and pray for Bruce's recovery and praying for him and for his family to be more than 100% better and stronger. Please, send your get well wishes and prayers to

Bruce if you can.
