ColtFromGulfcoast 695
After two years, evening anchor Shelby Cashman is leaving KOAT to take over the morning spot on KOCO. This isn't her first time in Oklahoma City either. This surprises me because I thought Alejandra Briones was next in line to take the morning anchor spot but at the same time, it doesn't as I saw this eventually coming when Cashman left for KOAT. This is a surpise but the set looks better than KDFW. And plus I live in the market can't wait to see how they do the newscasts next week. This isn’t going to go over well in Austin and San Antonio, where viewers have been used to getting city-specific feeds. Now they’re going to see their local news mixed with stories from Corpus, Dallas, El Paso, etc. in a single broadcast. Also, multiple well-known anchors have been demoted under this new schedule.
