So they essentially demoted Justin for someone who, while very accomplished, is a WSB newbie. That’s atypical for them. They usually groom folks for years and promote from within. I guess it’s possible Justin wanted it, but it seems like he would’ve announced he was stepping back to spend more time with family or whatever if that was the case.

I gather this was what Justin wanted, in order to spend his evenings with his family, per replies on Jovita's post.

From a friend on Instagram.... WBTS and WNEU will undergo another branding when they move into the new Boston Media Center.  They apparently got some gear that just has the Peacock and the big T logo.

First NBC Boston and Telemundo Boston, next NBC 10 Boston and Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra, now what next?

I’m not sure it was a post to a WNBC employee who liked the an NBC/Telemundo beanie style hat. The photojournalist said they just got new ones for another rebrand with their move.

Due to the impending severe weather in the South this weekend.....WPMI has decided to bust out Alan Sealls two weeks early.   He was introduced on-air this past weekend and did his first forecast as Chief Meteorologist earlier today at 5pm.

NBC (10) Boston is a pure f#*kin' joke! NBCUni better start talking to WFXT or better yet I mat doubt it'll never happen re-talk with 'HDH.

Brigida Mack, formerly of WBTV,  just announced she is jumping to rival WJZY. She will soon be working for Nexstar.

She’s the second former WBTV employee to jump to a rival in the past several months, the first being Ashley Strohlein to WCNC

Longtime WSB chopper pilot Jason Durden posted on Twitter that he’s no longer with the station. Pretty abrupt. Last time in the air was apparently last week. Sister stations WJAX and WFOX grounded their chopper. Surely the mighty WSB wouldn’t have gone that route, too. Or would they?

Just what the doctor ordered for WJZY. They needed a big name veteran talent like Brigida Mack and they got it.

That's probably what happened now that WSB is owned by a hedge fund, which are always looking to cut costs whenever possible.
