I suppose they’ll be the Chet and Nat of Cincinnati.

Or maybe the Garland Robinette & Angela Hill of Cincinnati...

The main difference, however, between the Dardis/Paolello relationship and that of the aforementioned Garland/Angela and Chet/Nat relationships, is that Dardis and Paolello each have children from previous marriages/relationships (info courtesy of the bios on the WLWT website). So there's that....

You cant forget Doug and Mona, who worked in Cleveland AND Columbus!

But that one didn't last as they eventually divorced and Mona married Mike James who used to run NewsBlues and had her own grammar column....

WSMV has a new General Manager

(TVNewsCheck says she's leaving WIVB/WNLO, but she was bounced from there soon after Nexstar took over the station from Media General)

I can only hope she can get WSMV back on their feet again, but her track record speaks otherwise....

The question is did the last guy quit, or did Meredith pull the plug?

Or how about Vince Gerasole & Heidi Umbhau?

Look at how she looks over at him at :16. Awww.

They’re still married.

If we're talking about WBBM veterans, you gotta remember Mary Ann & Jay. The whole marketing campaign of the short-lived duo was based on their marriage. Also, that theme... 😍

Chet and Nat were married to others before they were married to each other and Chet had kids with his first wife. Heck, Jacobson was the last name of Nat's first husband!

On the Boston tangent, Phil Lipof went down a similar path with his wife Juli (Auclair), first at WRNN (they met while detouring that way) then at WHDH back in the 90s.

That's not what I meant.

Mark Nolan just tweeted that tonight's 6pm newscast will be his last on WOIO.  I believe his co-anchor Romona Robinson has already left the station.

Carl Monday has also posted a farewell video on social media as well.  He was at Cleveland 19 since 2007.

From her twitter page, it looks like somewhere in the middle of December must of been her last time at 19.  On WKYC youtube page in November of 2018  her and Tim White did a throwback.

KTRK's morning meteorologist Travis Herzog will replace the retiring Tim Heller as the new Chief Meteorogist at the station.

David Tillman of KTRK moves from weekends to weekdays at 11 & 4 and is given title of Chief weathercaster. Rachel Briers presumably takes his weekend spot.

Travis said himself that he'll be chief. Where are you hearing about Tillman?

EDIT: BOTH are chief? What the hell is that?

Travis is Chief meteorologist while David is chief weathercaster as to why 2 chiefs who knows perhaps for severe weather etc they can tag team.

Here in Portland, WCSH morning co-anchor Lee Nelson and evening co-anchor Cindy Williams have been married for 30 years. Another marital union between morning co-anchor Sharon Rose (now Sharon Rose Vaznis) and reporter Chris Rose ended in divorce. Chris Rose eventually left the station and is now with the University of New England.

Nobody really knows what happened, it caught everyone off guard. For the last time, WSMV is FINE, unlike the general consensus in this board that it isn't, it just needs some fresh blood at the helm.

I'm sure she will be able to do great things, the station needed someone with a news background at the helm. The previous GM was a salesman, not a newsman.

Something can be said for ratings growth though, and the station seems to be heading back in the right direction even before LaSpina was hired. Bad decisions are the station's downfall but hopefully that won't be the case anymore.
