#MeToo has now come for local news. I bet athletes are next.

Uh...

Back on topic, seeing as how coke and booze was common in newsrooms, I wouldn't be surprised if sexual situations accompanied it too.

Oh fuck.

By the way, its not just local media, but public media too. WNYC has suspended Leonard Lopate and Jonathan Schwartz after pending accusations of inappropriate conduct.

WXYZ morning anchor Malcolm Maddox has been suspended after being accused of sexual harassment.

Does Curtis Jackson still work at Channel 7? I see his bio not on station website and his pics on twitter are 2017 earlier in the year, but have you seen him on the news?

"A personnel matter...not related to layoffs made last week by station owner Raycom Media. It also was not a retirement."

You can probably read between the lines there.

Brett Ship last day was yesterday at WFAA. He going to run for Congress.

I wonder how much of this is Shipp really wanting to be in public office, and how much of it is Tegna continuing to trim long-time (cough-highly-paid-cough) staff at their stations.

Her best performance since Body of Art at WOIO. We black people don't fool around.

While I agree with her that the poster was wrong, she must've forgot her time at WCAU and why she was let go. She is not one to talk. If memory serves me correct, as I was a member of the forum she was allegedly posting at back in the day, she posted inappropriate comments including about another African-American reporter, on multiple occasions calling her the n word.

At minimum, it seems like Ms. Reed isn't well-liked among newsroom staff. This story could take an interesting turn.

Ay jeez... as soon as we think WGCL is doing well now due to WXIA's misfortunes, they might as well just blow up their entire evening team (not Tracye though) and start over.

Jeff Hogan at WBNS will take Bill Leslie's job at WRAL in Raleigh in January. I guess Jeff got tired of waiting for the main gig at BNS...

Scott Light is there, remember Light and Kelly Frank news director both worked @ WGCL/CBS46 in Atlanta. Hogan, was set to be heir in the evenings. Just note even though BNS wins, has all the toys, but inside the building it consider the dark side...

I was told when Yolanda Harris was at WSYX many former 10er's told her don't go to the dark side and it wasn't worth it, but she jumped ship.

Hogan, was tired sitting on the weekends... He was waiting to sit next to Harris.

Note: WSYX new set will debut on Monday at 5pm.

Meanwhile in Hampton Roads, WAVY reporters Erin Kelly and Liz Kilmer left the station. Kelly is heading to WVTM in Birmingham, while Kilmer is heading north but can't say where...yet (VARTV's words, not mine).

Guess what, WCMH... It looks likes there might be a NEW worst station and NEW icon for me coming soon!

I believe that has been the case in most of her past postions. I was shocked she got the job in Atlanta, considering how terrible she was in St. Louis.

The current ND at WGCL worked with Sharon over at WOIO/WUAB. (Ironically, two of the anchors at WGCL - Mike Dunston and Alicia Roberts - both worked together at WEWS in Cleveland on "Good Morning Cleveland.") I have a feeling they'll continue what they were trying to achieve at 19/43.

Kenneth the Page! HAHAHA!!! That's who I thought when I first saw Scott Light on WBNS! This guy looks like he has a permanent chipper face. Like you've heard of Resting Bitch Face, he has Upright Chipper Face!

Another dumb move by Verizon after dumping The Weather Channel.

Bloomberg is free on anything that has a functioning web connection at this point (though without the sidebar GFX). They probably figured that into why not to carry it. TWC you can excuse as dumb, but Bloomberg has just as much blame here for their looseness with how you can watch their channel.
