TheRolyPoly 1839
I don't know if this was the right place to bring this up or not but... WUFT out of Gainesville from the University of Florida (DISCLAIMER: I currently attend the university as a Telecom student wanting to possibly get into Journalism or become a broadcaster of some sort) has launched a new podcast called Broadcast Bits, which takes a look at the changing landscape in the local television news industry. The first episode talks about the Independent News Network from Arkansas which produces local news for various markets across the country. The second episode talks about the "all about Me TV" pinnacle that's happening within the local TV industry and yes, Scott Jones from FTVLive is interviewed on this episode. The short weekly podcast is hosted by Harrison Hove, former anchor at WCMH-TV 4 (NBC) in Columbus, Ohio, who is now U.F. College of Journalism and Communications' News Manager for the Innovation NewsCenter (the nickname for the WUFT-TV-FM Newsroom). That can't be good for morale at the station.

David Salter JR 66
So rumor had it that Veronica Johnson went to WJLA when NBC4 brought in Doug Kammerer as chief meteorologist vs not promoting her. Now I see that WJLA has also brought in someone from the outside to be chief meteorologist does this mean doug hill's days at WJLA are numbered? Breaking News 794
could this mean the end of the view and/or general hospital? Not this season The View will be back and GH is not in danger of cancellation, and Rebecca Campbell has 99 problems on the daytime division is not one of them at the moment.
TriangleTriadMediaNews 267
could this mean the end of the view and/or general hospital? He's retiring in a couple weeks, I think he announced it in May sweeps. Lately he's only been working the noon, 4, and 5pm shows.

TheRolyPoly 1839
That would leave Charlotte, Houston, New York, LA and Orlando, no? Sorry to double post but... correct! Five more markets to rebrand left and MyTV will be no more as a branding used from FOX.

Georgie56 3048
KDFI is now Fox 4 More. https://www.facebook.com/FOX4MORE That MORE text looks ugly with the Fox "O" in MORE. I like how KSAZ uses the "O" in their "10" logo, but here, it's out of place.

NowBergen 479
That would leave Charlotte, Houston, New York, LA and Orlando, no? Despite Fox doing everything it can to kill WWOR and KCOP, they are both VHF long time stations and can't see them caryring the Fox 5 or Fox 11 branding. They may just drop the My part those markets. Fox has already made the decision to no longer broadcast news on WWOR (sorry, Chasing Sh!t doesn't count). So the strategy used elsewhere is already irrelevant.
