Hey, guys. Haven't posted in a while!

Anyway, here's another gem from WNWO in Toledo. All I can say is, this is what happens when you let people in one market (South Bend) produce the news segments for a station in another market (happens at the very beginning of clip, with the mention of Fox 6 in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, PA)....

Again, this is the late news on the NBC affiliate in Toledo, OH.

Thoughts????

Something else to mention: KLFY had a similar goof-up happen on their weekend newscast one night a few years ago when the open for "Meet Your Neighbor" (KLFY's noon show) ran instead of their usual news open. This was just before Media General took over KLFY and the rest of the former Young Broadcasting stations, BTW (in 2013).

"Inside Edition" is moving to WOIO/Cleveland from sister station WUAB. It will this fall at 4:30pm on weekdays, which is currently occupied by part of the 4pm local newscast.

So WOIO is canning part of its newscast? Or all of it?

Not only layoffs, but they're consolidating KYTV and KSPR's news operations. Many of its shows will be simulcasted on both.

Effective 8/19/17, a combined KY3/KSPR news team will create original weekday newscasts for KSPR at 11:00AM and at 4:00PM. The combined news operation will simulcast on KY3 and on KSPR combined and improved local newscasts during the following time periods, M-F 5:00-7:00AM, M-SA 6:00PM, Sunday 5:00PM and M-SU 10:00PM.

As a result of these programming and operational changes, KY3 will be able to expand the KY3 noon news to one hour and add a fourth hour of Ozarks Today at 8:00AM on the Ozarks CW beginning in September.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sinclair bundled WNWO with a large chunk of their NBC affiliates in a group-wide affiliation pact. Otherwise NBC would be talking with Gray about moving (back) to a WTVG sub.

That's pretty much the same reason ABC has put up with KDNL this long.

Are the legacy Fisher and Allbritton ABC affiliates now tied together with KDNL and the other Sinclair ABC affiliates? I'd be surprised if they weren't.

It looks like the last Sinclair ABC affiliation agreement did include the legacy Fishers stations but was done prior to them closing on the Allbritton stations.

Per the article, the remaining affiliation agreements still have some time left. I'm guessing that's including the Allbritton stations in that.

WKYC in Cleveland is going to start their morning news at 4am on September 5th. They will join WJW as one of only two stations in the market with an earlier start time.

Of course made possible by NBC moving up Early Today to start at 3:30am EST.
