How could I have not seen this coming....

http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/phillygossip/Kacie-McDonnell-no-longer-engaged-to-Aarron-Murray.html

Ladies and gentlemen, this is why we shouldn't relocate to be with our love interest unless you're married. Now she's stuck in KC for a while.

I mean, she could just be saying it, but based off of her comment of "I'm loving my career in Kansas City," she seems to be fairly happy here. Though that comment is followed up by "I’m really committed to being a part of this community for the time being." That could mean that the moment her contract is up, she's outta here.

I also find it funny how bitter Philly people seem to be about her leaving Philly to come to 'lowly' Kansas City.

not to mention, Aaron's brother, Josh, broke up with his fiancé Andi from 'the bachelorette' not too long ago, coincidently. Although you can say about that last part, maybe not so much debate, coming from a show with a poor ass record of long term unions, that didn't have a shelf of a life either.

Maybe Murray brothers are just bad people to date. Anyway...

Meredith's "Better" is no more, instead it will continue to be a brand for their local adver-fluff fests (lifestyle shows)...

http://www.tvnewscheck.com/mobile/index/article/id/82436

It was already in the graveyard shift at recently acquired WALA, who also has a vacancy on their "Studio Ten" show after Cherish Lombard departed for an anchor job at WKRN in Nashville. Chastity Byrd has been co-hosting for the time being, and the job is posted on Meredith's job page....

Could this be an opportunity to retool the show with the "Better" brand?

Wow. The CW Plus has been broadcasted this show and Intelligence for your Life to replace The Daily Buzz. Now Better canceled? Wow.

So I'll be interested what CW+ will do next.:watch:

Two huge departures tops the Comings & Goings.

JC Hayward, a 43 year veteran at Washington DC's WUSA-TV is retiring. Hayward is credited with being the market's first female anchor starting back in early 1972.

And the long-time meteorologist at Chicago's WLS-TV is out. Meteorologist Mike Caplan has been let go at ABC 7 Chicago after 21 years at the ABC O&O. WLS has

five full time meteorologists and one per diem (including new hire Cheryl Scott) and had to let one of them go.

Add one more to that list. Larry Stogner, longtime anchor at WTVD, has been diagnosed with ALS and is taking time off. https://www.facebook.com/ABC11/photos/a.82214697549.81177.57780972549/10152862369442550/

No doubt about it. Larry's a fighter, and humanitarian, and North Carolina institution. Say a prayer for Larry and for his family, and for that we say thanks for the company, and God Bless.

A Harrisonburg, Virginia, realtor is suing WHSV for defamation (and $1.1 million) after teases for a story talked about a real estate con while showing pictures of his "House for Sale" signs.

Meanwhile, here in Phoenix, Cronkite News got a major exposure bump yesterday when it moved from KAET's DT3 subchannel to its main and to a new 5pm timeslot (becoming the Valley's eighth local newscast at that hour!). KAET, which was absorbed by Cronkite in July, also reshuffled its daily schedule to create an early evening news block incorporating the PBS NewsHour, its local programming and BBC World News America.
