jerseyfla 193 Posted December 15, 2018 Share Posted December 15, 2018 I was seeing some old Live at Five videos on YouTube and decided to Google search Katie Kelly and whatever happened to her and apparently she passed away in May. https://www.omaha.com/columnists/kelly/nebraska-native-katie-kelly-former-new-york-city-tv-celebrity/article_6757cd45-d7bd-5166-bce7-d045980c7e77.html She lived a very modest life after television in Vietnam and then back to her home state of Nebraska. Not many pictures online from after she left television except on this article/obituary. So that’s the third person from the original Live at Five talent that has passed away with Don Pardo and Liz Smith preceding her. Neither WNBC nor WABC mentioned her passing online.
