Cheyenne, Wyoming 1985 Flash Flood News Coverage

Recommended Posts

Anchored by a young Harry Smith, here is an aircheck off 3/4" of Denver's KMGH coverage of a flash flood in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1985. Andrea Joyce, future (or possible also then?) wife of Harry Smith was reporting live. This was KMGH's new virtual set. There are additional technical details in the video comments.

Hello. We have a thread called “Classic Video Thread pre-2008” where we post vintage TV news clips before 2008 in it (self-explanatory). This video actually got posted a few months ago in said thread.

Either way, yes, this proves that KMGH did go virtual in ‘85.
