The CHEX News newscasts are also about to be renamed in honour of the station's association with Global TV, now that both are owned by Corus Entertainment. Starting Aug. 27, the newscasts will be called CHEX News on Global Peterborough. CHEX-TV will also soon get new sets for the news desk. "We're going to turn this (the Monaghan Rd. offices) into the Corus media centre," said Ron Kronstein, manager of TV news and operations at CHEX-TV. "We're making a pretty major investment here."
