UFC to ESPN

First it was the deal with ESPN+, now the linear side of ESPN is getting in to the UFC universe, as the WorldWide Monopolizer is signing a 5-year deal with UFC.

If even Fox isn’t paying for UFC anymore, why should ESPN? It’s not like they’re going to have any better luck with it.

I agree. UFC is getting the better end of this deal. ESPN is just hoping that they can help the UFC create bigger names and thus generate bigger ratings.

 

A better question is why did Fox dump something real for something fake?

 

Ratings / overall appeal is much better for WWE than UFC.

As of now there’s still no official word on additional UFC programming on ESPN such as a show similar to “UFC Tonight”, which currently airs on FS1
