With the Royal Wedding only little more than a month a way, network news divisions are announcing their coverage for both the day of the wedding, and days leading up to the wedding ceremony in Windsor England.

This morning on TODAY Show, NBC announced their coverage.

Pre- Wedding Day

Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb will anchor a primetime special on May 16 called INSIDE THE ROYAL WEDDING.

 

On Thursday May 17, Hoda Kotb will anchor a spilt edition of TODAY live from Windsor.

 

On Friday May 18, Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, Sheinelle Jones , Kathie Lee Gifford, and Megan Kelly will all be live in Windsor anchoring their respective hours of TODAY

 

Wedding Day

NBC seems to be going all out with their coverage. Royal Wedding 2011 was the highest rated TODAY show ever recorded with over 10 Million people watched. However for Wedding for Prince William and Kate, TODAY began coverage well over a week before, Meredith Veria anchored a spilt edition of TODAY every day from London in the week leading up to the wedding

I hear you tho it will likely bring in very high ratings. Good idea not to have Lester Holt there as the probability of breaking news I would say will be quite high.

I really don't care, there are other things to worry about then a lowly Prince and a C-list actress who are living off the backs of hardworking taxpayers in the UK.

Durning the week before the wedding (May 14-18) PBS will launch PBS' Royal Wedding Watch with Meredith Vieira and British journalist Matt Baker. The show will give updates each day on the plans for the Royal Wedding airing at 10:00 PM ET.

I really don't care, there are other things to worry about then a lowly Prince and a C-list actress who are living off the backs of hardworking taxpayers in the UK.

I understand the feeling, however they do make a lot of money for the UK.

I wonder who will anchor ABS's coverage, Barbara Walters and Dianna Sawyer did it back in 2011.

I know George is Chief anchor at ABC News and leads special programing, but I highly doubt he would go, because he need to be in New York just in case other news breaks. I bet Robin Roberts, David Muir, and Micheal Strahan will do it.

 

I would personally love to see Diane Sawyer do it alongside Robin and David, that would be a great pairing because they get along so well.
