ChrisC-R 15 Posted January 17, 2018 Share Posted January 17, 2018 News 4 ditched Look F yesterday for some graphics that kinda has SOME resemblance to the current O&O look.(except for the L3's and the 7day, those look like from another station I can't think of.) Below are some pics from News4 Today at 6a this morning. The first one is their breaking news open due to snow coverage since yesterday. That actually is Look N! It’s heavily modified though, you can see the lower thirds and title cards have the same exact elements. Also it’s amazing that Meredith stations like WSMV, KPTV and KCTV can get superior-like graphics yet WNEM has this garbage: Maybe they’ll be next. I agree about WNEM being the one with not-so-great graphics(it's making seem like they want to be like a certain 3-letter station wink-wink) I do hope they are next. mark 55 Posted January 18, 2018 Share Posted January 18, 2018 I didn't realize until recently that WSMV had ditched the longtime "Channel 4 News" name and rebranded to "News 4." I wonder why they felt the need to change from one generic name to another. More puzzling because the market already has a "News 2." EDIT: FiveNews beat me to it!
