The big news out of Atlanta is WGCL CBS46 beating WXIA in nearly all time periods, and WAGA in some others. WXIA is now the last place station in the market. Major market shift going on there. More to come on that in the coming days...

The bad news is they have no idea which former ND is responsible for the success....

Was it Larry...or Joel...or Fred???

Who really cares?

In LA....KTLA claiming victory 4-11am, 1pm, 3pm, and 10pm weekdays. They also claim victory weekend mornings, weekend 6pm and weekend 10pm.

So I guess this means KABC wins weeknights at 6 and every night at 11 because they always dominate. Plus, Sundays at 9 would go to KCAL.

This is thanks to TEGNAitis. Once great WXIA now 11Dead last. TEGNA might end up giving WXIA the KXTV/WTSP format in full. Congratulations WXIA 11Alive, you're now 11Dead.

Sometimes I think this Uncle Barky guy wants WFAA to be an ABC O&O.

This is thanks to TEGNAitis. Once great WXIA now 11Dead last. TEGNA might end up giving WXIA the KXTV/WTSP format in full. Congratulations WXIA 11Alive, you're now 11Dead.

Nonetheless, it's CBS46 --probably thanks to their 9:00 pm newscast on Peachtree TV as well as the recent hiring of Gurvir Dhindsa a year after leaving WAGA -- that could be giving ol' WSB the middle finger (now that VP/GM Tim McVay is retiring)!

But I think WXIA will still reign in primetime thanks to Thursday/Sunday Night Football, The Voice, and This Is Us.

11 biggest issues is their parent company who continues to sink in the abyss...If the rumors are true that 46 is beating 11 kudos to them...

11 has seen better days, but the constant change and poor Shiba Russell didn't even get to gel with the audience after Brenda Wood retired...Yeah NBC has some hits, but if CBS46 would do right, and stop shuffling as well it could do well...I do say can the Swann dude and put another male anchor in place and keep it moving....

Who would they lose 4:30am to?

Good question. I don’t know WBFF and WMAR are the only ones live at the hour and WJZ is running CBS Morning News. If I had to guess they probably one either the demo or the HH but not both - so they didn’t include it in the two lines of fine print. The same goes for the noon newscast their only news competitor is WJZ, WMAR has a lifestyle type show “Midday Maryland” and I think WBFF has some court show.
