ColDayNews 437
The package has been around since 2000, when KNBC originated it. it then spread to some of the other O&Os... if I recall correctly, the only O&Os who didn't use it were Philadelphia, Birmingham, NYC, San Diego, and Miami. - I must say, I love WCMH's use of The Tower v.2 and Chris Clausen's VO... So, do any NBC O&Os or affiliates still use The Tower?

As for other older 615 packages, Impact comes to mind. I think WDBJ is the only one that's still rockin' V.2. Most everyone else is using V.6. At least according to the list, KSBY has the longest-running continuous use of the Tower of any station anywhere. They even switched back to the original cuts somewhat recently after using some of the newer ones for a few years.
CircleSeven 1944
When WVIT went with the Tower last year, I heard the V 1 close at the end of their morning news (they used V.4 for the opens). And heard some V2 cues for the bumpers on the evening shows. Not sure if that's still the case now.
